The New England Patriots released two-time Pro Bowl safety Brandon Meriweather at the NFL roster cut down deadline yesterday causing him to become a free agent. The move seemed like a surprise to those on the outside considering Meriweather's age (27) and skill (two consecutive Pro Bowls) but those in New England aren't totally surprised by it.. for more information click above video.
